Social scientists, culture critics, X (Twitter) personalities, and weird cranks tell us marriage is on the decline.
If you go on X, you run into popular personalities decrying marriage, or saying that rich women are not marrying men, or that women marry men to only then divorce them as a way to climb to the top. In those same circles, you constantly get psychosexual projections of how modern women have an insanely high number of sexual partners. You get men and women, feminists and manosphere figures, calling marriage a bad thing.
It’s a common notion that wealthy elites are not marrying. And most people tend to believe alternative lifestyles along with hedonistic lifestyles — polyamory, childless, and unmarried hyper-successful women — are the norm for wealthy people.
Wrong.
