The End of Everything slaps, as the kids say. I’m a Victor Davis Hanson fan, I listen to his podcast, I read a number of his articles, and I’ve read two of his books, one of them twice. What I enjoy most about Victor, he’s a heavyweight intellectual — he’s a classicist by training — yet he has such a handle on human nature and human behavior. He isn’t the standard stuffy intellectual who loves ideas so stupid and complex that only an intellectual could love them.
